Hare Krishna! To wear this Kanthi Mala, one should not eat non-vegetarian food like eggs, fish, meat etc...., onion, garlic, tea-coffee. One should not smoke or take any any intoxicating things like drugs, liquor etc. And, as much as possible, one should chant Hare Krishna Mahamantra : Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.
